Level 42 
Today, the Game Activity Feed was added to the FarmVille Screen, which obtains FarmVille posts from your home feed. On the downside you cannot get or collect anything from this feed on Facebook. If you go to the actual FarmVille website you can see a tab that says Game Feed, that has been there for some time. Here you can actually collect things that would be on your home feed on Facebook.
If you do not see this Game Activity Feed under you game screen you can click the little note icon on the top right hand corner of the screen. The first tab on the Facebook FarmVille Screen will tell you some of the things that your friends have done, obtained, and gained in FarmVille. There are all kinds of things that you can see on this feed that include things from ribbons your friends have obtained to what they have just planted. This feature will also let you send congratulation gifts to your friends, such as a mystery gift. On the other hand, the other tab allows you to see most of the things that you have done on FarmVille.

I agree completely with Ron F. Allow the player to determine which feed they want as their default.

I do not like the friend or my activity feeds ( I know what I am doing). The game feed used to be great but now it takes so long to load and it defaults to friend activity so it takes longer than ever to do anything. It’s quicker through facebook home. I want to shut it all off. Wish I knew how.

I thnk this really sucks. I cant get anything regarding gifts that people have sent, and it is highly inconvenient to have to go somewhaere elses to obtain ‘shares’, etc.

What do I think about this new feature? I think it’s a load of crap and not a feature at all. I use the game feed to obtain bonuses from friends, and the fact that every time I leave the main farmville screen to accept a bonus it defaults to the useless friend feed when I get back means that it now takes about 10 times as long to go through the list of bonuses – and often that time difference means that people using automatic bonus grabbers get to them first.
I wish they would delete these useless feeds and return to only the game feed, or at the very least give you the option to make it the default feed.
